We’d really appreciate it if as many local people as possible could complete this Survey about our woodland walk. It only takes a few minutes and will help us build justification for future projects in the area. The survey is being carried out by Outscape (formerly Outdoor Recreation NI) who helped us deliver the pathway on behalf of NMD Council.

Your insights gathered from these surveys will play a critical role in demonstrating the value of trails and in turn make persuasive arguments to protect and grow the resource base for outdoor recreation.

Please share with anyone that uses the walkway, and on any local groups, and also get each member of your household to do the survey as well.

The beautiful Seaforde Christmas Tree πŸŽ„ provided festive cheer throughout December and early January.

It is now serving a new purpose at Kinedale Donkeys; the donkeys will eat the pine needles and bark and then the trunk will be chipped for bedding.

We were delighted to welcome so many of you to the Seaforde Summer Fete and Falconry Show which was held in and around the Seaforde Young Farmers’ Club Hall on Saturday 8th July. The fun started at 1pm with attendees enjoying the various garden games. The craft table, which was facilitated by Game for a Laugh Party Hire NI, and face painting by Helen Newell were both really popular. The music by the Anchor Ukes enhanced the lighthearted feel of the day; folks really enjoyed their fabulous performance! πŸŽΆπŸ‘πŸ»πŸ€© The Falconry Show proved incredibly popular with lots of interest from the crowd. The Northern Ireland School of Falconry delivered a fantastic flight display with the birds which was an informative and entertaining experience for all. πŸ¦…πŸ¦‰ Brennans Seaforde & Dundrum ice cream kept event visitors refreshed🍦and outdoor shelter was provided by Rent A Tent N.I.. Thank you to Newry, Mourne and Down District Council for its funding support that enabled the event. Finally, our thanks goes to those who made the event possible, especially our fabulous volunteers 🀩 and to Messrs Jennings and Keown for the use of the field. The field had been the intended venue for the event
